About ArcheAge Chronicles
ArcheAge Chronicles is an open-world action MMORPG from XLGAMES, set in Auroria during the Age of Pioneers. Per the Steam page, you arrive as an experienced explorer joining a trading company, exploring ancient ruins and investigating a catastrophic airship crash.
Combat is action-driven — you jump, fall, roll, dash, block and parry rather than tab-targeting — and around it sit hunting, gathering, housing, farming, crafting, trading runs and company or guild activities. It is being developed and self-published by XLGAMES for Windows on Steam.

When does ArcheAge Chronicles come out?
There is no release date yet: Steam lists the date as "To be announced" as of October 21, 2026. The game is planned to launch into Early Access, which XLGAMES expects to last about 9 to 12 months once it starts.
Is there an ArcheAge Chronicles demo?
Yes. A free demo is live during Steam Next Fest, October 19 at 10 AM PDT through October 26, 2026, worldwide with no regional lock. It offers roughly 2–3 hours of quest content in English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
What are the four classes in ArcheAge Chronicles?
The current build has four classes, named 격투, 야성, 마법 and 철벽 in XLGAMES' Korean press release — Battlerage, Archery, Sorcery and Defense in the series' English naming. Each class has two weapons (eight in total), with a third weapon per class planned later.
Where is the Throne of Hinnon key hidden?
XLGAMES has only said the key is hidden somewhere "that won't be easy to find" and has asked players who discover it to share the location on the official Discord. Community-claimed key routes are unverified, and this wiki does not reproduce them.
When does PvP unlock in the ArcheAge Chronicles demo?
Much earlier than normal: once you leave the first town and reach the Nui Statue at your next destination, you can enter a PvP channel. XLGAMES lowered the entry requirement for the demo; normally PvP opens after the early part of the game.
Is ArcheAge Chronicles pay-to-win?
XLGAMES says no. It is buy-to-play, with no paid in-game store at the Early Access launch and a stated principle of never selling pay-to-win items; optional purchases after Early Access would center on content, customization and convenience. The price has not been announced.
What languages does ArcheAge Chronicles support?
Steam lists English, Korean (with full audio), Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The Next Fest demo supported the same four languages.
Does ArcheAge Chronicles use kernel-level anti-cheat?
Yes. The Steam page notes the kernel-level anti-cheat XIGNCODE3 and requires agreement to a third-party EULA (the ArcheAge Chronicles EULA) before playing.
